All the gemstones displayed and sold by A.B.GEMS are 100% natural. We are transparent in our selling policies. What is told is to be sold i.e. if the gemstone is synthetic, will be sold as synthetic and not as precious.
The inclusions of gemstones are the identity of gemstones being the natural. High range gemstones have the inclusions which might not be visible through the naked eye. The inclusions are like the feathers, the black spots, the bubbles, etc.
Yes, the mines affect the value of gemstone. There are limited countries with limited mines which extract the high quality rough. Due to its rarity, the mines affect the price of the gemstones.
In ancient times, the rough stones where extracted manually from the mines, while in the modern days, the roughs are extracted through the blast. Due to heavy portion of heat in the blast, the rough sometimes catches the heat. Hence, they are termed as Heated Gemstones.
While, treated gemstones undergo the treatment for better color, clarity, etc. And hence are termed as Treated Gemstones.

Yes, you can return the gemstone within 15 days from the date of delivery , provided the gemstone should be kept loose and should not be studded in any kind of jewelry. Gemstone should be handled with care.

No, we do not make any ring or any kind of Jewellery. We just deal in loose gemstones.
If you are wearing a gemstone for astrological purpose, then you have to wear what your Astrologer prescribes. If your astrologer prescribes you to wear a yellow sapphire, then you cannot substitute it with citrine. All the gemstones have different properties with respect to astrological and scientific aspects.
Yes, We send the certificate with gemstones. In case, you want the different laboratory certificate, you can get it certified as per your requirement, at your cost.

Shipping in INDIA is done via DTDC courier and is charged @ Rs. 120/500 gms & Rs. 150/kg.

Package is shipped internationally via couriers like Fedex, DHL, UPS & Aramex which will provide you complete tracking details within 24 hours of dispatch. We evaluate and select the courier so that you get the best shipping rates for your country.
On receiving the package first thing you do is to take total count of the products as mentioned in the invoice which is there in your my account section. If you find any product which you have not received then please mention the SKU of the product along with its color and email us on info@abgems.net within 24 hours of receipt of the package.
For missing products there are 2 possibilities :
- Products are at our office and it was missed in packaging from our end. (This is very rare once the product is in your invoice), our team will investigate this thoroughly and get back to you. If we find any products which are in our office we will refund the remaining products amount or adjust the same in your next order.
- Products went missing after the package is dispatched from our office during transit, in this case we will try our best to discover missing products by coordinating with the courier company. A.B. Gems will not be liable to bear any financial loss caused due to products missing during transit, since this is beyond our control.
Usually 99% of times the packages are delivered successfully without any hassles.
We use branded cargo companies like Fedex, DTDC, DHL , UPS , etc., but still if there is any loss of package during transit, that is after we have shipped from A. B. Gems, then things are beyond our control and we would try our best to get your package traced but would not be liable to bear any financial loss caused due to loss of package.

Yes you can send your courier / shipment partner, we will handover the package to the concerned person after having a total count of the products in presence of the pickup person.
Please Note : After the handover of the parcel, A. B. Gems will not be liable if any product is lost or the package is lost, A. B. Gems will not bear any financial loss caused due to this.

Our policy is clear that whatever is the invoice value in INR that should reflect in our account. If there are any bank charges involved / deduction due to conversion then it will have to be born by you.
RETURN/ EXCHANGE/ BUYBACK
- “Our profit lies in the client’s profit.” We try our best to upload the Gemstone in its natural condition. We believe in “what you see is what you get”.
- But sometime the product image may vary with the actual gemstone, due to photography light, carbon particles present on gemstone, screen resolution, etc.
- But as part of business, if the client is not satisfied with the product delivered by us. The client can go for return procedure of the gemstone.
- All the return and exchanges will be processed for the gemstones purchased only on A.B. GEMS Website / App.
The Gemstone Will Be Accepted As Return In The Following Conditions :
- Only If the gemstone is returned within 15 days, from the date of delivery.
- The gemstone should be in proper labels and packets provided to the client at the time of delivery.
- The return gemstone will undergo some examinations conducted under the strict supervision of our experts and if the returned gemstone is labelled as okay from our experts, the procedure for refund will be done.
- The gemstone ordered should not be studded in any jewellery or rings. If any gemstone is studded in jewellery, the gemstone will not be accepted as returns and shall loose the value in terms of the Price.
- After the gemstone satisfy all the above conditions, the client will be refunded 100% invoice value of the gemstone.
- Please Note: other charges such as certification fees, gateway charges , shipping charges , etc.(if any) will not be refunded.
- Refund will be processed in 4 – 7 days woking days from the date , we receive our gemstone return.
The Gemstone Will Be Accepted For Sale Return (Exchange/Buyback) Under The Following Conditions:
- If the gemstone is studded in jewellery, the return value will decrease depending upon the factors such as edges of gemstones, the condition of gemstone due to wear and tear, etc. after removed from jewellery.
- The gemstone should not be studded in any jewellery or ring, if studded; the client has to remove it.
- The gemstone will be examined by our experts and will undergo the high tech mechanism for minor checking, which shall take up-to 48 to 72 hrs.
- The client should provide all the gemstone related documents given at the time of purchase.
- The deduction in the value of the gemstone studded in jewelry depends upon factors such as the charges for re-cutting, polishing (wherever required), the weight-loss of gemstone in cutting and polishing and its final shape.
- Gemstones accepted under buyback/exchange policy, undergo several process like polishing, cutting of edges, etc. This results into an additional costs and weight loss (major pricing factor for gemstone valuation). Depending upon the weight and percentage of additional cost, deduction percentage will increase.
- If the Gemstone is in proper condition / After the gemstone is ready with new cut, polish and shape, it will be processed for refund procedure.
- Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. If payment was made by Credit Card / Debit card, once we receive the product we will credit your account.
- All the payments against the Buy-back gemstone will be processed in 4-7 working days. (From the date of return), provided all the documents of gemstones must be returned with all required invoice details.

Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Pack the product in a slim pack with bubble packing so that they are safe during transit.
